About Us

Our Village Closet (OVC) improves outcomes for youth and families impacted by foster care by providing essentials, support, and community connections.

Youth and Caregivers can find comfort, connection, and community with us. While fostering these connections, we support the youth and families of foster care to help them feel seen, feel heard, and feel a sense of belonging. We help to restore dignity and offer the power of choice. We show the youth there is a community here that cares about them. We make it easier for new and returning Resource (Foster) Caregivers to say, “YES!” to caring for more of these at-risk and vulnerable youth in our community.
